The Senior Financial Technical Analyst’s role is to primarily support the firm’s Accounting and Financial Management department and the systems that the group uses in their daily activities. This individual will act as a technical liaison between Accounting, the Information Services department and at times the vendors providing technology solutions. The role is a far-reaching one, requiring the analyst to be multi-faceted in developing an understanding of the functions and needs of the Accounting department, to recommend and facilitate the implementation of technology solutions, to produce and analyze financial data, and troubleshoot data and technology issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the productivity of the Accounting department and the user experience therein. The Senior Financial Technical Analyst will own a reported issue throughout the process and work with the business unit and/or vendors through successful resolution. Most importantly, the Senior Financial Technical Analyst must have an aptitude for learning the database architecture of the systems he or she supports along with displaying a strong work ethic and the ability to effectively communicate business and technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences including at times, senior management. Requirements include:
Prior law firm experience and/or familiarity with legal-specific technologies is a plus. The selected individual will have an excellent understanding of relational database design and programming fundamentals, a broad understanding of information systems technologies and products, and experience with a variety of integration tools. An understanding of project management fundamentals, prior experience with Elite Enterprise or 3E and knowledge of database architecture are highly desired. Must be able to work additional hours, as needed. |
